Combines Upgrading P1 rotor to P3

Pete, I put a P3(R72) rotor into our N6. It went right in with no other mods.Make sure you get one that has the grease fitting on the coupler. It had all forward bars and green pea straw and damp straw or weeds would just flow thru like p@@p thru a goose.

Thanks for the info. My "Hyperized" P1 has new thresher bars so I probably will not switch anytime soon. I do have problems with green stem beans even with stacked thresher and channel helicals in the seperator. Other than a little more cob breakage than I prefer I am very happy with my P1 set up. I am always looking to improve though. If I do find a reasonably priced P3 in good shape I might jump on it. Pete

We had a guy with early R70 with P1. He had full set of chrome helicals (edible bean, green sunflower kit) with all forward bars. He had trouble flowing the edible bean straw so we installed P3 rotor with rotor sweeps and it is doing very well.
