It depends on how much material is available to machine. We have machined numerous water pump pulleys off 4840's and 4640's. The diameter on these pulleys will end up about 1_16" smaller.

hi, i know a guy that did it on the varible seed sheaves on a gear 6600 . had to get wider belts .
