Not sure about 1440. But, I would look for a 1460. The 1440 and 1460 are the size, in separator and cleaning area that is. But, the 1460 has more hp and heaver hydro and final drives. You should be able to find a 1460 with 3000+ hrs for under $10,000.00 We bought a nice one last spring at Farm Auction for $9600.00. With those kind of hrs you are going to need to check for: Feeder house bottom Feeder chain Impellers and Wear Bars Concave wear. Rotor Bar wear Auger wear. . Clean and Return Elevator chain. Hydro Cable mouse damage - Wiring. This is a few things to check.
