Without seeing it it is hard to say, on average though, an 87 F3 (Deutz-Allis version rightIJ) is the last and most refined version of the F3, these seem to bring a good price yet. 9500$ for the package if in good shape does not seem out of line to me, you can't buy a machine that size anymore and the conventional Gleaner die-hards would likely give more than that for one that will last them. My good friend bought one just like what you describe with no corn head to replace their F, I am pretty sure they gave more than 9500 but that machine is SHARP! Good luck, hope I helped. By the way, for comparison, a local dealer sold an F2 with 15 foot header for 7500$ no corn head it was a long tail with the 4 cyl diesel. They wanted another 2500$ for an A430 corn head, that they still have. It was nice but the concave had been welded up.

Being a gear drive is what hurts the price and demand. If the wear areas look good and it will do what you need then the price is about right. In certain areas the corn head will bring at least $3000 if it is in good shape. The 13'header will not bring as much as a 15'. The motor if it was well maintained should have another 1500 hours in it. I have a well maintained 1979 F2 diesel with 1_2 the hours, electric over hydraulic header control on a 15' header, hydraulic fold auger, a 1982 4-30 corn head and like new 28l-26 drive tires that I would like to sell for $7500. The demand for "F" series combines in my area (NEIN) is about gone since good l2's with both heads sell for less than $10,000.
