Combines value on large used combines where are they goingIJ

Cant make any money farming, so no one is buying equipment,and with the large surplus of used stuff it will just continue to drive the prices down on the larger machines. Something has to change, but chances are they never will...

I saw a TR-97 that was in pretty good shape sell at an auction that was forced on the farmer by a bank sell for $17,500 with the wheat header. If you wanted a yellow combine, that one was the one to get.

went to an auction 2 wks ago that had 12 jd 9600's on it. from 1990-1997 models with hrs ranges from 2991 to 1100. top end price was 49500 down to 21000. most of them in the low 30's. all had singles and varing degrees of work done to them. all colors took a bath at this auction. we have not even begun to see the bottom of this used market. i guess we have at least another 2 years before we see an end to the bath.
