If orings are not fixing leak you could have a very odd problem I had on one machine. There was a crack in shaft that went down to oil passage way. This machine likely had a loose nut at one time which allowed shaft to twist enough to create a crack. If you remove nut and note oil there I would pull varible completely off shaft to examine very close for hair line crack. Good luck

We had a R72 crack. It took a lot of work and seal replacing before we starting looking for a crack. Made an adapter and connected a porter-power to oil gallery before we found the crack.

I assume that if this is the case that it would require a new main shaftIJ The oil appears between the two sheaves. When i have taken the nut off I don't see any oil. It is seeping down between the sheaves. I don't know if this makes any difference. I really hope it isn't the shaft. It doesn't sound cheap or easy.

It is posible for the oil to come out between sheaves if shaft has cracked. I would think you would see it when you pull nut and washer off as well. Also one of the two small orings that seal shaft to hub will allow oil to follow shaft and leak out between the sheaves. I imagine you have replaced that oring allready. Hears hoping you find oring that is getting cut on sharp corner or something rather than a cracked shaft.
