Combines walkers cracking

Is this the exact same walker as what is in the 9610's or are there some design changesIJ

The walkers are the exact same part number for both the 10 series and the 50 series so i dont see what the difference would be in this particular walker breaking unless there is some other difference. Brent

It sounds like that one walker is a little out of time. When we replace walker shafts and bearings we get the shaft into the bearings and spin the walkers by hand, then tighten one down and then repeat the process. I don't know if that is the reason or not, but i have heard that if you don't do that the walkers take a pretty bad beating.

Have the same problem. Replaced all walkers in 9610 with new JD walkers last year and after 400-500 hrs they started cracking just like you said. They were all timed how Deere tells you to.

HAVE HAD 30+ 9000 WAlKER MACHINES HAVE NEVER CHANGED A WAlKER,BEARING OR BlOCK ON ANY MOST HAD 1500 TO 18OO HRS
