Doc is right! I wouldn't trade my Redekop for almost anything, and no, they don't "pull hard" as I may have first thought. I also use a slo-down kit for corn which cuts the RPM in about half to save wear and tear. It is just a larger pulley for the chopper rotor, and a longer belt. The chopper then simply paddles the cobs and husk out and yet spreads well. If you can find a Redekop,buy it! You will be pleased.
