You might be better off buying new as used choppers are very hard to find. I recently had to aquire an entire burnt R-52 just to get the chopper for my R-50. I ended up robbing quite a few parts from this machine so it wasn't too bad. A chopper from a 42 or 52 will fit right in your machine but you'll have to buy some different drive pulleys because the are different than the 40's and 50's.
