Are the bars on the afx the same as the specialty rotorIJ If so, Marvin has some used ones for sale. Dont know how many, but they are in great shape.

We have one 2388 with gorden bars just on the very front. Seems to work fine, would there be any benefit to using your seperating bars on the back, and How much do you want for your bars. We harvest wheat canola and barley. Our 2nd 2388 has a standard rotor which were changing to a specialty rotor with the axcellar kit on the front. Should I be installing Gordon bars on it before putting in, are they that much better.

I want $10 a bar, you pay freight. 14 bars for '88 series. I think the Gorden seperating bars were made for edible beans or tough stemmed soys. They worked great in soys, but too much rotor loss in corn and wheat. They came on my combine when I bought it used, is why I have a set!
