Combines We like our hillside 9750

Is this 9750 Sidehill a prototype or whatIJThere is no 9750SH that I know of.

There is no 9750 sidehill. The machine he is talking about came from the factory as a level land machine. There are about three companies out here in eastern Washington that make aftermarket levelers for our combines. I have a 9600 that levels to 45%. I have had it on 60% slopes but would like to have rear wheel assist before next year. Hope this explains your question.

Yes it sure does answer my question.But things are much different here in the east then where you are.I first thought that it might have been some JD prototype.I guess after all this is what makes this country so interesting

We ran a 9750 STS this year with a Hillco leveler. last year we demo'd a 9750STS with a M Squared leveler, and I can tell you there is no comparison between the two. The Hillco out performed on just about every aspect. It's balanced so well that it climbs and sticks to the hills far better than the M Squared. And the M Squared was a dog for power, because they use so much hydraulics to power the header. The Hillco had way more power because lose very little power with their closed center hydraulic system and mechanical header drive. And the other thing I really liked is that they don't modify the combine to put their system unlike M Squared who does alot of cutting and welding to get their system on. So one could easily return the Hillco combine back to a level land combine if need be. We really are impressed with the Hillco system. I talked to Columbia Tractor in Moscow, ID, and there having a field day this coming Tuesday, Sept. 3, south of Pullman next to the highway there.It's a good chance to actually run a 9750 STS with a Hillco leveling system.
