We got some tractors in the field yesterday working in ruts from last fall and turning under rice stubble. I ran some burndown with my sprayer Sunday afternoon and Monday morning trying to beat a rain Monday afternoon on part of the farm. The weathermen are calling for more rain tonight and tomorrow. I sure hope we miss it as we're only about 3 weeks away from planting time here in EC Ark.

I'm ready too. It's still kinda wet here. Some of the cotton guys are going strong, but the gumbo's still sticky. looks like we might get some snow tonight and tomorrow. That'll be a rude awakening. RAB, where do you farmIJ I'm in Crawfordsville, near Marion and Wset Memphis.

Riceman, I farm from south of Brinkley to near Holly Grove on soils that range from gumbo to sandy cotton_corn ground. We're still wet in most places, right now we're just able to work select fields that dry out quickly.
