Install or slide out bottom stripper and install fairing on header. That will bring straw in further before it is allowed to get behind feed chain slat which can cause wrapping. Be sure that the feed chain is suched back into feed housing far enough so the slats do not hit extentions when head is put back on. Be sure the loose shields between the drive sprockets are free to turn and are overlaped in such a manner as to not bring straw around. There is a easy way to get a jumped chain back in time and that would be install a 1_2" drive extention inbetween jumped chain and sprocket. Turn chain to such extention inbetween chain and sprocket on loose side to snap it back into place. I'm not sure if that made sense but if it did give it a try. Good luck.
