That's ok with me.Gave 18,250 for it.2600_1875 hrs.Before this crop it had new main shaft and new clutch's, new clean grain elevator,chain and auger, also new rotor and maybe throat chain.It needs some other things from what little I know about the machine. Now to be fair,it was in ARK and had been cutting rice.I'm going to drive it to Tenn. and try it on green stem soybeans.

Congrats on the new purchase. I was wondering what that one sold for. I'm down the state a little about 20 miles west of Memphis. We run Massey's. Whereabouts in TN will you be heading with itIJ I know of one R62 around Covington.

Congratulations on your purchase. Dont waste your time with a 20 bean head unless you have lots of 6 velvetleaf or ragweed in your beans. I almost wish my 17 year old R60 would wear out so I could justify updating to a 62 or 72.

A farmer I talked to who has a 62 said the cage was worn for rice but might work for beans.The the augers under the rotor need to be replaced.I'm sure there's alot I didn't see.But,the farmer I was talking to said I didn't get hurt.

It was the one at McDougal.I'm east of Jackson.I talked to several rice farmers yesterday and geeee,doesn't sound too good.From the looks of the Delta Farm Press Ark. has avg.2-3 farm sale a day mostly in rice country.

Congrats on the 62.Put a 25 footer on it though,been there done that 20's not enough.

Hi AlanE. Just curious as to why you are experiencing what is apparently a high level of farm sales in your area. Same with us after 9 years of drought and below average rainfall [ 16inches _ year.] in our grain areas area in western Victoria, Australia. Does not do anybody any good at all regardless of where it is, when this happens. Cheers.

Yeah its not looking too good for rice farmers... Prices are low and imputs are through the roof. Diesel and natural gas prices along with fertilizer prices are killing us. lots of guys here are getting back into cotton. I'm seeing auctions being held by just about every auctioneer thats out there. Some haven't had a good sale in years but they are getting the calls this year for sure. Good luck getting her home. I bet that trips going to be a fun one. If you could float her across the river on a barge that could save you hours and hours of driving! I wish that rigid head was a 30 footer, I'm looking for one to get for wheat and milo. What are you asking for the 24 footerIJ
