Combines what a sight

Europe. loaded on a train, headed for the East coast. All twin-rotor CR combines are made in Grand Island, Nebraska, as well as all CaseIH combines, and then exported to all points world-wide. The New Holland CX straw walker combine is mfg'd in Belgium and imported directly to dealers in North America (no assembly required upon leaving the plant, same goes for the CR's and CIH's).

the new holland combines were the ones that look like the big plastic "play school" toys!!

Those would be CR's, but they aren't plastic, they are all metal.

Several years ago I saw a train come through NW Ohio with all red combines. I counted 50 flat cars with 2 combines each. The cab windows were covered with plywood. A neighbor who lives along the tracks said it was the third trainload he'd seen go by. One train had stopped at the back of his farm so he walked back to take a look and was imediately confronted by a railroad detective. Guess they must have had some problems getting these combines shipped safely.

isnt the cx made in the same place as the cr's and share some of the same parts.the tx was made in Begium.

Nope, the CX is maufactured and assembled in Belgium and exported to North America for retail. They are drop shipped directly to the dealer, mainly Canadian dealers.
