The book says to start with the cylinder set at 1_2" and running about 600 rpm, the top sieve set at 5_8 and the bottom sieve set about 3_8. If your getting unseparted pods increase your cylinder speed. you want to see just a few splits to see that your threshing them all. If that doesnt work lower your cylinder a turn and you also might try closing your bottom sieve a bit. A bean screen works the best. good luck
