I think what you are seeing is a ladder concave and that is what all the Ns had from the beginning. I believe the company you mentioned rebuilds concaves but don't know if they build from scratch. I believe when they rebuild them they will cut out every other iron in rear three or four slots. Maybe if concave is going into corn soybean area they remove every other wire segment on whole concave. Some Ns have the R concave setup with 3_8" wires if they have been updated to that. I'm sure there are jobber concaves that will fit right in where ladder concave was without the R update.
