did you shoot a deereIJ When you put the new auger in, adjust or replace the the clean grain elevator chain _ sprockets so it won't break the new auger. When they climb up and over the sprockets all n$n%@ breaks loose. Whining is the sound transmitted by the oil which is non compressable, as it enters and is blocked off the pump and motor pistons. The higer the pressure as in high range the greater the whine. Whining is also the sound made by many mother in laws in any application, any gear, any waking hour. Remove the boot, I'm talking combine here not mother in laws, by drilling rivets, remove the bearing, remove the drive spkt, clutch and brg from the drive end and remove auger.

How does one find a live Deere to shootIJ I would also replace the elevator chain and both sprockets if they show any wear. But then again I am the type of guy who doesnt like taking it apart in a year or two to do what should have been done in the first place. Tom in MN

I do,I fixed my wife's itch she had, so my job is done for another 9 months. (she has one in her hopper not the combines)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did get a deer a buck the only other deere I could have shot would have been my 4020. I haven't started the auger project yet I will tackle it this weekend. I can't lay any claim to a mother in law as My girlfriend will not marry me until I'm out of debt. I could, with a little planning, have the longest" honeymoon rehersal" on record.
