Jill, It is refreshing to hear about a girl who loves custom combining. I harvested for 3 years during college and it was absolutly the best job I will ever have. I currently work for a farm equipment company and we build harvesting equipment. Since I worked on harvest, on through a job with New Holland, till now, I have gained alot of contacts. I know several custom cutters who run New Hollands, most are Canadian however. And I will tell you, if the TR's turn you on, wait till you drive a CR or CX. They are awesome!! If you would like some names and contacts, my email is coolfarmboy@hotmail.com. I will be more than happy to give you some direction in finding a job.

You really can't post pictures directly on this site. If you send a combine-related picture to Marvin he will eventually post it, but that usually takes a long time. There are a lot of sites that will let you post pictures and then you can link to them, but I haven't done it and I'm not sure which ones are free and work well. I usually just email pictures directly to the other person. Mike

As my lovely wife always tells me, "IT IS A WOMANS PEROGATIVE TO CHANGE HER MIND". Do what is right and go with your first inclination and hop on a CX or CR and and have a lovely summer viewing the country through a spacious NH windshield, rather than spending it unplugging a choked up green panty weight combine.
