Combines what do i need to do to do oats with a 4400

I have done oats with my 4400 before using a grainhead, and I didn't do anything to the feederhouse drum and it worked fine. I just set the machine by the book, and then fine tuned it. You don't want to much air, because it will blow the oats out the back. As for the pickup head, I can't really help you there, but I am certain that it runs off the feederhouse just like a grainhead or a cornhead.

You'll want to drop your drum just as the picture on the side of the feederhouse says.

We Have a 4400 that we do oats with as well we have a 212 pickup head for it the auger is driven from the right side of the feeder house. I always put the feeder house drum in the low position.
