What Does A Box Scraper Do

What does a box scraper do in comparison to a box grader? I need to grade a driveway, and I'm wondering if a 7-foot box grader will do the job.

Graders are typically more expensive, use a bit more horsepower and are wider than a scraper. They both do the same job as far as leveling is concerned.

I believe they're the same in everything but name.

They are. People have different personal preferences and that creates a need for something like this. Manufacturers are just filling a need however petty it may be.
