Yes, the A 8-30 is the good Black head that you read about on here and will fit the l_M series depending on how you set the throat plate and hooks. The 8-30 is pushing the M and will be just fine on the l. There are quite a few here in IA. The A means Adjustable for the throat width. But all were the Black head.

The A in A-830 means it is adjustable for 28,30,or 32 inch rows. To fit an l it must say l_M A630 or A830.
