Combines What is the best bin exstension

I HAVE USED All KINDS BUT lIKE THE MAURER THE BEST. All YOU HAVE TO DO IS TIGHTEN THE SlIP ClUTCH A lITTlE

I have a Bish Bin on the 1688, and a Crary Big Top on the 2188. I perfer the Crary Big Top.

The combine operator could care less if the extension is see thru mesh or solid metal. But believe me as the cart driver the mesh blows the solid in the weeds. I can see the load and can plan on where to be w_o being on the radio all the time. Our 2388 has mesh from the factory and our extension is mesh. I can see the load from less than 1_2 up to [of course] a full bin.

Mauer CIH says to put Auger extention on too

Crary Big Top bin extensions with bubble-up augers. Crary, the only way to go for bin extensions. We have used them on all our 2188's and on our 2388's....never a problem.

I've used both kinds and like the see through mess better. It allows both the cart driver and the combine operater to see how much is in the bin. I like the way mauer assembles but the windows just don't allow enough visibility.

Maurer is the only way to go! I would recomend a bubble up auger if you go with Maurer's large model.
