I am sorry on the claas part of the post i left out NOT on the line that say "it looks ClAAS does look after there combine products" From the posts it look like Claas DOES NOT look after there combines once there sold, to the same degree that the other makes do.

I'm not sure what the future holds, but like the old saying is "may you live in interesting times". As the big companys fight over who is biggest, has the biggest this or that, maybe some small companys will have a chance nowIJ The new McCormick tractors look nice, the new Versatile company has good prices on there tractors and a lot of other small companys looked good at the NFMS at louisville last week. Some how things always have a way of setting them self back right in time. Ilnh

Well said. As soon as someone steps up and starts really taking care of the customers, they will succeed on the market and compete over the big complacent manufacturers, who only look at the bottom line. GMC has done this during the early 90s with their european subsidiary named "Opel". They completely sacrificed quality for profit. For about a year they had the most productive auto manufacturing in the world. In the end they lost their market share and Opel has not made a profit since. GMC has to subsidies them now. It may take a long time for a company to crash, if they don't listen to the customers. For John Deere this is even more difficult, since they are the only company I know of, that was able to brain wash their employees AND their customers.
