As soon as someone steps up and starts really taking care of the customers, they will succeed on the market and compete over the big complacent manufacturers, who only look at the bottom line. GMC has done this during the early 90s with their european subsidiary named "Opel". They completely sacrificed quality for profit. For about a year they had the most productive auto manufacturing in the world. In the end they lost their market share and Opel has not made a profit since. GMC has to subsidies them now. It may take a long time for a company to crash, if they don't listen to the customers. For John Deere this is even more difficult, since they are the only company I know of, that was able to brain wash their employees AND their customers.
