At that hour range- and by your description- it probably needs new ears, cone, bars and concaves as well. Feeder house will need bearings and sprockets, as well as a new chain, most likely. Will cost around $3k for parts or so, another $3-4k for labor if the dealer does the work. I wouldn't pay over $50k for a 1688- especially if it seems a little rough. Haven't heard alot of numbers this year, but last year rough 2188's went in the high $50's around here.

I wouldnt even look at the son of a B combine. this combine is a reck who ever owned it was darn abusive to it dont wast your time going to this sale there is a lot better combines out there for cheaper up in Canada and in the nothern stats. We bought a 1460 international in way better shape then this one for 30 sure it might not be as big but it will still do the work if you take care of it eany thing will but dont buy that combine youl just have problems in the future garented what you thnk the broblems are on this combine isn't half of them i'll garentie it.
