forget any ideas of ever wanting to own a 550. I repeat, kill those ideas. I owned one for five long years. Two neighbors had them, same results. Motor is great. Rest is not. Not enough room to tell all the areas that will never hold together. Get a nice 850 turbo hydro at a sale, you will like it and not pay much either. Bearings are large enough to last a while. Not in a 550.
