I know of a guy in Iowa who ran a CR960. Had a 12r on it and couldn't get a clean sample out of it. Didn't have enough fan capacity. Cranked WAY up and still didn't have enough. So they traded it after one year for a 970. Something to think about. Take care, Nathan

I may be mistaken, but I thought that the 970 has the same shoe as the 960, so how would that help himIJ I should mention that I plan to only use an 8 row 30" corn head, so may not push the bushels a 12 row may see. I guess my other main possibility is to go to a 9660 STS, so would like comparison experiences between the two. Thanks again.

The 960 has a 52" wide cleaning system wirh 8,370 sq in of cleaning area. The 970 has a 62" wide sieve with 10,075 of area. Have drove a CR970 with 12 row head very good corn. I could not overload it and it had a great sample. People here with 960's seem very happy with them so far. Ilnewholland
