Combines What was the first Deere combine you ever ranIJ

First combines: Gleaner- R52 (last fall) IH- 1460 CIH- 1660 Deere- 9500 (hoping to run a friends 9750STS this summer) NH- none.

A brand new 1990 CIH 1680, Ahhhh, what a way to start.....was on the wheat harvest.....

First combine i ran was an 80 MH with a 12 foot straight cut header, then moved up big time to 2- 6601 JD pull type. Now run a '81 7720 hydro.

The first combine I rode in was a MF 410IJ when I was 5 yrs. old,circa 1970. The first combine I drove was a 1975 6600 with that fabulous "twist the knob to get reverse" tranny and 15'head w_ a Hiniker floating sickle,I don't know how the beans made it over that 2" ramp!! Now,25 years later,we have a '92 9600 and '98 9610,both bought used,which my 2 boys love riding in. D.W.

The first and only combine i ran was a john deere 9510. But hope run the new 9550 soon.!
