To start with, it makes a world of difference what year model the R50 is. If it's a 1989 1_2 or newer it will bring twice what the pre 1989 models do, and is well worth the difference. In our country a newer style R50 that is in good shape will bring $22,000 to $27,000. Of course, a lot of things can change the value such as rear wheel assist, etc. Where are you locatedIJ

I traded an l2 in 1992 for my first R50. I was a bit skeptical because I didn't know anything about a rotor and I knew that l2 inside and out. That R50 will run circles around the l2. You'll never worry about a clean grain sample. The local elevator got so they wouldn't even probe for a sample because they knew they were clean. I now run two R50's and they have served me very well and the Deutz engine is very economical on fuel. Since I don't have any help the most of the time I'm seriously thinking of selling both R50's and buying one R62 because one is setting still the most of the time. The only thing it is handy for is that I can leave the corn head on one and the grain head on the other. I can shell a couple of loads of corn in the morning while I'm waiting for the dew to go off of the beans and then jump on the other one and cut beans in the afternoon. I'm in Missouri if you are interested.
