To elaborate on John W's comments, the factory concaves are not "line-bored". If you see this term describing aftermarket concaves, it means the shape of working surface is circular and of roughly the same diameter as the OD of the rotor, allowing the distance between the rotor bar and the concave to stay pretty constant over the full width of the concave. With the factory concave, envision the concave as a larger circle placed on the outside of a smaller circle that is the rotor. As you move the larger circle toward the smaller circle, they contact at one point, which is the pinch point for the crop. CIH considers the location of the pinch point to be critical, and I have no reason to doubt them.
