We had an M2 1979 model set up with fac4WD 30.5's rebuilt motor and hydro @ 100 hrs, every auger and chain , raddle chain, concave,cyl bars etc. replaced within last 500 hrs, a 315 flex totaly rebuilt with 150 acres on it and a438 corn head. Got 23,000 for trade on a R52. We had all the work done at the dealer where we traded and think it made it more appealing as a trade, actually the man that bought it from the dealer drove it off our farm to his about 10 miles away. You have a more valueable corn head than ours, but the rigid header would not be as valueable in bean country. Your machine is desireable and newer, if clean, ac working and everything ready to go should fetch pretty close to ours. Sometimes it just depends on who you come across Just my 2 cents.

Just bought one similar to yours, less the 4 wd, from Iowa, looks mint, every belt and filter and all fluids changed by the dealer, gone through his shop, delivered, for $30,000 CAN plus a 79 F2 (allowed 5,000 for it) Then, of course, I picked up a 315 flex (like new) for $5,000 Can which was attaced to a 4WD 1987 M3 with 1700 hrs, looked as good as mine, but a private sale; farmer was asking $29,500 CAN. No trade wanted, but seemed a better deal than mine!! So, yours should be in that range, there may be a bit more of a market here in Ontario. Good luck selling it. Ben.

Well I plan on rebuilding parts of my l3 this winter. Hopefully in Cornhead's heated shop. Not for sale but so I can have another few years of nearly trouble free harvest's.
