Don't know about "greenback" but up here in W Qld were all crying out for rain. We've had a bit over 3 inches since the rain in November. A few lucky guys have jagged a storm that went over a couple of weeks ago, but it was very patchy. We'll need at least 2.5 to 3 inches to plant the min till stuff and just about 2 to even join up the zero till country! Plenty of moisture below but it down over 6 or 7 inches deep now. lot of farmers sweating on a bigger winter plant after some dud summer crops thanks to the no show of follow up summer rains. low AUS. dollar, and low USDA production figures are great, but unless you've got a crop in the ground, it ain't going to help many guys over here at all.
