Where abouts you located, In south west Missouri wheat looks pittifull, to wett of spring, wheat is thin, small head, covered with blk smut, DOesnt look like a wheat year for sure

I have Overley and Jagalene planted, they are still resistant to leaf rust. The Jagalene has some stripe rust and powdery mildew. The older varieties are all getting eaten alive by stripe and leaf rust here, except for the Karl 92. We had our wheat field day on Monday and the SE KS area agronomist said my test plot was a nursery for leaf diseases. The Overley looks the best of all the wheat around around here. I'm south and a little east of Wichita.
