Combines wheat settings for a R 52

Since you haven't got a reply I'll make a few comments. I had an R50 and now have a R62. The R50 was very similar to your 52. Yes, the spreader speed needs to be on high. The X configuration on the paddles has me wondering. I've never tried them that way. I usually ran mine within a couple of inches of being in the full advanced position. If you go too far it will through to much straw to the right. You will just have to experiment some. The fins are set right on the chaff board. I always run mine in the down position. I think that is what your supposed to do. Again, I never tried it in the up position. Might try it and see what happens.

Book settings will likely be very close. Set concave a little tighter for tough to thresh variety. Run 2 or 3 filler bars in front concave if hard to thresh and tighting front of concave one knotch up toward MIN from MID. Sieve should be OK where it is but maybe close gap a bit for tough to thresh variety. I've seen some spreaders set up like yours but can't help but think it would spread more even with them all set the same. You'll have to do a little trial and error to see what is best for you. Chaff board is likely best all the way down if stubble doesn't hold up air blast to much. I bought some chaff deflectors from a fellow dealer that look like they will work very well. They are basically twice as long as existing deflectors and a couple inches deeper. There is a rib on the bottom of deflector to hold chaff in until it gets to end of deflector. The deflectors look they will throw the chaff almost straight out to the left and straight out to the right. We'll likely give them a try this fall.
