Most of the time you can get by with just changing the rings and bearings. I've had 2500t sep. hours and never have replaced a shaft yet. But i also grease walkers daily if not twice a day on long days book says every 200 hours but service dept. said to do it more often and i use a non-clay base grease. the front bearings can be done through side panels long arms would be a plus. 9600-10 a hard to replace because of the extra walker.the old rings will have to be cut off because there one peice but the new ones are two piece and bolt together. post back if you need more info.

last fall the strawwalker drive gearcase got loose and ruined the end of the crank, therefore we had to change crank, bearings etc. It was not a fun or easy job. I personally laid on my back thru the inspection door so I could reach the inner 2 walker bearings and bolts...Do not have someone who is claustraphobic do this...lOl. lay some thick cardboard down on top of the augers to save your back from scrapes and to set wrenches on. We used some 2X4's to hold the walkers up off the crank to install the new bearings..with 3 ppl working on the machine it took about 4 hrs from start to finish to complete the job. let me know if you have any more questions.

If you pull out the shaker pan under the walkers, it is wide open and an easy job, just put some thick cardboard or a plywood on the chaffer. The biggest problem is usually getting the walker drive case off. Just make shure you get the walking timing on, so you do not stress the walkers.
