Combines Which flex head 300 or 500 seriesIJ

I went from a 315 to a 520 and I like the 520 much better, it seems to cut closer and feed better. I have the hose mod on my 520. Pete Hinrichsen

The shorter the beans the better you'll like 500 over 300. With the sickle 3" closer to auger you will also have much better luck cutting wheat with 500. Air assist systems or orbit drive on HCC systems will also help you with short straw situations on both models. Good luck
