Combines Which Gleaner combine is the smallest

Sad to say but Gleaner hasn't made one that small for over half a century. Allis Chalmers AC60_66_72 with the head removed would be about fit the specs you provided. Many are still around, most not running and parts are very hard to get. All the Gleaners are too high and most are pushing the width. As for the smallest recent Gleaners the K2 is the newest then the E3 and then the A2. Parts will be easier to get for the Gleaner but they are overheight specs.

On our farm, we have a Model A Gleaner, built in 1965, it has a 10 foot straight cut header and we have an 8 foot Allis pickup. Gasoline engine, lots of power. Machine is ideal setup, for cereal crops and forage seed harvest, with clover seive, works great. Machine has been used over the years by my Dad to harvest 300 - 500 acres of cereals yearly. It would be to big to meet your specs, but parts can be found for it. Small Allis combines in our area are no longer in use. The Case company has made small combines in the past.

John: Thanks for the info, do you know where I could find the specs. for the different Gleaner modelsIJ Is there anyplace on the internet that would have any history on the old Gleaner combinesIJ I know there has been a lot of test plot combines made out of Gleaners and I'm thinking that a Gleaner might be my best choice for size and parts availability.
