I'd run trans and turbo boost threw its calibration first. Then if shift is to sudden or to slow you can go in and change some offsets. Not hard to do if you have the book. I believe trans and turbo boost cal may be in op manual. Evaluating shift guidelines should be in service manual and if not they are in a service bulliton. Newer software (shown in display upon turning key on) allows a few more settings to fine tune transmission controler to tractor model. I've even programed in different model tractor a time or two and found a better shift. I think with a little tinkering you can get shift quite smooth for your operation. Good luck
