Brandon, we have done some experimenting with changing the vanes on our 1460 with standard rotor and for corn ,beans and small grain feel like the difference is small compared to other adjustments you can make..don't think i would spend the time to change daily...would try slowing the rotor speed for cracked beans as I have been surprised how much difference that makes...have been as low as 300 rpm in some unusual conditions ( very dry late harvest) with good results and not a noticable drop in capacity..
