We went from older30' Macdom on TR98 to 470 w_ 30'Honeybee with pickup reel. One of the reasons we shifted was because the previous year a friend had demoed a 470 with 36' Macdon and had really liked the combine but the header did not preform nearly as well as his Honeybee mounted on his JD 9610. The Honeybee seems to be very easy to hook up to the combine well engineered and feeds the grain into the combine quite well. I looked at a new Macdon this morning and noticed that there was a shaft on both sides of the adapter to hookup. We farm in southern Manitoba doing small grains.
