I often wondered the same thing, always thought they were chasing the Jone's. More parts and less performance is usually a recipe for failure. Heck, they could have put another knuckle in the swivel and added length years ago and never looked back. I dont recall ever seeing a good post about the Gleaner turret, they maybe should have copied the x brand and traded them some accelerator roll patent rights when they are about up....
