All sounds fine to me. let us know how you like this set-up. I am particularly interested to hear how you like chopper set-up. As far as rock door hump kit...I think it is a good idea. We have installed them and found no drawbacks and should reduce chance of rock damage.

Brian, Do you think that the hump helps in capacity in any significant amountIJ I will for sure report on the chopper later.

I feel the "hump" helps this transition area tremdously. I found in green stemed beans the door would kick open way to easy untill I really tightened springs down. Do you really think the sunnybrook can out perform the decked out factory cylinder with steep pitched helicalsIJ Do not doubt you but my full hyped 97 62 really needs a 30ft instead of 25ft just to keep her full in 2nd gear instead of 3rd.

G'Day RamRod I do think the hump will give a lot smoother tranision from the feeder to the the rotor, Spend the day taking out the door and set the hump up on it nice and square and bolted down tight!! We harvested some (Frosted)green lentils here a couple of years ago and I think the hump helped in keeping the green stuff moving in that sort of dead area in between the feeder and rotor. I would like to know if the steep pitched helicals are any better than standared helicals that have been HyperedIJ Please let us know. Rolf

The hump kit we bought a few years ago had a longitudal twist built into it of about 3_8" of an inch. We had to cut it apart, clamp it down on a flat surface and reweld it before installation on the door. It certainly seems to help the transition between conveyor and thresher .

I installed the hump kit from gleaner and I think it helped a lot, it feeds more evenly and I knock the door open much less now. I only get the door knocked open a couple times a season now compared to every day before I put in the hump kit. I understand lowen's hump kit is a guarter or three eighths inch higher than gleaners and it might work even better but I have not tried it.

I have not ran factory rotor with steep helicals, so cannot say how good that performs. The Sunny will always out perform, in my opinion, because quality will be better as you can run slower rpm without vibration_rumble and be easier on drives(this may not be a factor on small grains however). Saw new R75 and they still come with 4 reverse bars in left section. Does anyone know of a crop_harvest condition that would require that to seperateIJ My dealer takes two out and replaces with forewards before they go out. I will investigate the hump kit and probably do it too. I have no problem with rock door opening unnecesarily now, so don't see that as an issue. When I trade this machine, it will be interesting to see if the extra value can be realized, or else I will keep all the goodies and give them back what they first sold me. Thanks to everyone for your comments.

I've been told that in milo with green leaves and soybeans that the reverse bars work a little better but by adujusting up the grate on the left side, that problem can usually be taken care of. I'm trying my 62 with no reverse bars for the first time in wheat in a couple of weeks so it will be interesting to see if I can tell a difference.

Can't say we saw any capacity difference but surely didn't hurt anything and should have added even more stone protection.

Green soybeans is where no reversebar {blank with distrupter} really shine. No experience on green milo since I wait till killing frost to cut our very small amounts of milo.
