Looks good on paper, but the jobs that are out there to be had are more than likely part-time minimum wage jobs that, depending on where you live, make it impossible to sustain yourself. Hence the continuing need for SNAP.

One reason why those jobs are not being filled would be my guess.

Record job numbers and the economy has never been better but you wouldn't know it just talking to most people. It's tough to earn a living wage and good jobs make you work your butt off.
