Make sure you put the smaller drive pulley on or it will run a little to fast and cause the head to shake. You shouldn't need the fly wheel if you slow the sickle down a bit.

In reference to a post in November, 2003 (I was unable to access the complete thread in my search),I think I have the 7.68" pulley. This is the recommended pulley for the standard cut sickle on this header. Is this the pulley I should be using for a SCH setupIJ

You should use the pulley for clean-cut sickle. This is 6 57_64" diameter.Part Number is 71358711

G'Day Guys Iv been lurking for a while on here but I must comment on the flywheel!!!! This is one of ROM's ideas! and it dam well works! I would suggest that you try out the fly wheel as well as slowing down the wobble box speed a bit as this will triple the wobble boxs life span as well as cutting crop better!!! ( Cutter bar will cut through those tough clumps of stumps, old plow shears and fencing wire!!! plus a bit of crop stubble!!) It's not very hard to make, ours I think is around 18 to 20 kg in weight. We regularly cut around 400 hectares of lentils a year on the ground and in the dirt and have only replaced the bearing's in the WB for the first time in five or six yearsIJ!IJ!IJ before that we had to do them every year!!
