I have the same problem on my f3 and my grain truck. Dealer tech told me to open all the way and back auger up approximately 1 foot and I would never have a problem. I hope he is right.

Don't have access to digital photo equip., it really is quite simple. At the left rear upper corner of the bin, there is a re-enforced area to which the cable is attached. With the auger fully out, extend the cable til it is about a foot from the end. Remove the upper bolt from the collar that attaches the discharge spout to the auger and hook one end of the spring in it. The spring I used was about a foot long, 1 and a half inches in diameter, and stiff enough that it could not be extended by hand at all. Use double cable clamps to make a loop with the free end of the cable and hook the sping onto this loop. Adjust the cable clamps such that the spring just becomes under tension as the auger is fully extended. Run the auger ihn and out several times, ensuring that it does not snag on anything as it tightens. Has worked fine for several years now, but is not a solution to an already cracked or loose tube. Ben.

I welded a chunk of metal in front of original stop on F2. Stops auger about 10in higher than before.Reaches over hopper bottom fine and doesn't seem to effect u-joint action.Fold every time.Too flimsy to leave out without some support.
