Combines Working on F2 this winter some questions

The best advice I can give you is get a parts or shop manual. The next best advice is check every wire leaving the cab to see if it's still good. Mice love to live in the overhead panel, in the right rear cab post, under the right hand control panel and under the motor. This is where all of your wires run. The A_C fans should only run if the A_C compressor is on. The temperature switch in the cab is not cycling from on to off as needed. If you put in a new temperature switch make sure the sensor tail touches the condensor you need to drop the bottom panel and fan to get it in place. The coolant level sensor is in the radiator and I think the water temp sending unit is on the bin side of the motor, if not I'll post back Friday. As far as the clutch if it engages leave it alone. Take the four screws out that hold each monitor in place. If the area is full of mouse nests and the wiring and sending units are good then you will have to send the units in for repairs.

Where would you send the monitor units to get them checked and repairedIJ The temp sender is on the bin side of the engine.

The oil pressure sending unit is near the end of the starter about the middle of the motor. I send my monitors to www.agri-tronix.com at 1-800-445-5058 ask for Stan. They are located in Franklin, IN. They will check and clean for about $42 per unit. Repair cost will be between $164 to $203 per unit. I would suggest making up some jumper wires long enough to go from cab oil gage to the oil sending unit to see if they work. While you are at it run another wire from the start lug to the starter solenoid. There is a multiple wire conector either under the motor or near the oil pan on the starter side of the motor. This plug is where all of the motor wiring ends up to go into the main cable to the cab. As I said before make sure all of your wires are intact from the cab to where ever they go first then work on each unit they go to.

Your local dealer should have a tester for your monitor box.Only takes a few minutes. The op manual has the best wiring diagrams. There is relay for the cond.fans,it may be stuck or maybe someone hot wired around it.
