you wont buy one of the tractors they used in this event. It was boosted by MF to just under 400 hp with computer management to ensure no transmission damage. The record was achieved on land under a centre pivot irrigator and the plough was never lifted - just kept going round and round and round.
Rockpicker,that 8280 was an Xtra,it had 4wd,(they don't do 2wd from the6290 upwardes),yes,that 8280 had 17 land furrow ploughs,a frount 4 furrow Gregoire Besson plough and a 13 semi-mounted plough on rear,it plouged 620 acers in 24 hours by Gerald Briez,they increased the power from 288 to 387hp including altering the turbocharger and injection timeing settings
