I heard that they refueled the Case on the go. Another thing is why do they use mold board plows. Do they have too. Why don't they just use a 60ft chisel plow or bigger.

You are right Rockpicker. Both the Case Quadtrac and the MF were refuelled on the go. Interesting is the fact that although the MF had a 456 litre fuel tank they kept topping it up everytime it had used 200 litres as they needed the weight of the fuel for ballast. Why mouldboard plows. I gues that is where it all started from in Europe and mouldboard plowing is a bigger thing there because of their heavy soils, not that I would use one in the sands that this record was set on.
