swtvid, I bent an auger in an l2 many years ago by picking up a rock. It was not a bad bend but it was bad enough that the auger would hit the header floor so bad that it stopped turning. I took the reel off, got the auger turned so the bent part was up. I laid about a six foot 4x4 block on top of the auger and then drove the header under the back of a grain truck box and used a hydraulic jack to straighten out the auger. I was surprised how streight I got it and I was cutting wheat again in about 3 hours. Hope this gives you some ideas and good luck! K.A.
